Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty
At Purnama Jewels, we stand firmly behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All jewellery purchased directly from Purnama Jewels is covered by a Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product.
If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, you may return the item to us for professional inspection. All warranty assessments are conducted solely by Purnama Jewels.
- If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we will repair the item at no cost.
- If repair is not feasible, we reserve the right to replace the item with one of equal value and specifications.
- If the damage is determined not to be due to a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and offer repair services where available, subject to cost.
Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services
To help preserve the beauty and integrity of your jewellery, Purnama Jewels provides complimentary cleaning and inspection services for jewellery purchased from us.
This service is available once per year for up to 10 years from the date of purchase and includes:
- Professional cleaning
- Polishing
- Prong inspection and tightening
- Re-plating where applicable
This service is intended to extend the life of your jewellery and ensure it remains secure and well maintained over time.
Pavé Warranty
Purnama Jewels provides a 3-year Pavé Warranty for all diamonds and gemstones below 0.05 carats set in pavé designs on jewellery purchased from us.
- Within the first 3 years, replacement of pavé stones due to manufacturing-related issues will be provided at no charge.
- After 3 years, replacement stones will be charged at their prevailing market value.
If a pavé stone becomes loose or goes missing, please contact your Purnama Jewels consultant promptly and we will guide you through the next steps.
Conditions and Exclusions
This warranty and all complimentary services apply only to the original purchaser of the jewellery from Purnama Jewels and are non-transferable.
Jewellery in which the main diamond or gemstones were not purchased from Purnama Jewels is not covered under our Lifetime Warranty.
The following will void the warranty:
- Maintenance, resizing, repair, or modification performed by any party other than Purnama Jewels
- Alterations made without our prior approval
Fine jewellery is not immune to normal wear, daily activities, or accidental trauma. Rings in particular are subject to regular stress and impact. As such, the warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Loss or theft of jewellery
- Loss of stones due to wear, impact, or accidental damage
- Damage resulting from failure to perform timely maintenance or repairs
Natural characteristics, slight variations in craftsmanship, and minor irregularities are inherent to fine jewellery and are not considered defects.
Examples of Non-Manufacturing Issues
The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered:
- Discoloration caused by chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes, swimming pools, hot tubs, or bathing
- Normal metal wear requiring restoration or rebuilding of prongs
- Bent, worn, snagged, or damaged prongs resulting from daily wear
- Stones lost due to chipping, cracking, or impact damage
- Lint catching on prongs, which may occur in certain settings
